FUF

FUF was founded in 1991.The group members come from the mid jell and area, and we come together once a month for training. In Addition, the members also dance in their local folk dance associations, where the training usually takes place once a week FUF has participated in festivals around the world Just to mention a few places: New Zeeland, U.S.A, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Nepal, Taiwan and Malaysia Danish folk dance preferably uses dance that was recorded in the period from 1750 to 1850. From this period we have approx. 1100 different dances and even more melodies. In our shows we are dancing in suits that are copies of the suits that were used in Denmark during the Period from which the dances originate. The suits are handmade in the same way as the original suits were made. The clothes consist mostly of wool and linen and maybe a silky scarf. The appearance of the wearers varies greatly, since each region has its own suits, and the dancers have usually chosen a suit from their home region
