OMBAK

OMBAK Malaysia is a traditional musical ensemble consisting of 100 members who play bamboo instruments. It was founded in 2001. This group specializes in the rendition of bamboo music accompanied by dancers showcasing traditional dances. OMBAK Malaysia has represented Malaysia in various international events, including the Festival Internacional De Folklore Ashpa Sumaj in Argentina in 2023, the 11th International Folk Festival in Nepal in 2022, the XIV Global Festival of Folklore Mi Peru in
2021, the 10th International Folk Festival in Nepal in 2020, the Sauq Waqeef Spring Festival in Qatar in 2019, the International Children Folklore Festival in Nepal in 2019, and the 9th International Folk Festival in Nepal in 2018, among others. OMBAK Malaysia is a highly dedicated musical ensemble that is fully committed to delivering their utmost performance in the global stage.
