Folklore group Name: "Obzor"

Folklore Ensemble OBZOR was established in 2002 by the Community Culture Center of the town of Obzor. The Ensemble is representative for the Municipality of Obzor and enjoys its full support. Obzor is a small town with marvelous natural landscape – it is situated along the coast of the Black Sea in the South of Bulgaria and is a summer-resort location favoured by many Bulgarian and European holiday-makers.

Folklore Ensemble OBZOR has performed in Hungary, Greece, Macedonia, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Egypt, Mexico, etc. The Ensemble was the laureate of the International Folklore Festival “EUROFOLK” of Veliko Turnovo. In 2002, the Ensemble won the first prize in the Project “ARTFEST – Ambassadors of Bulgarian Spirit”. In 2006, the Ensemble won the second prize of the “Orpheus Spring” Festival in Stara Zagora.
