Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria.The city is at the foot of Vitosha Mountain in the western part of the country. The culture in the Bulgarian dance and music arts is one of the main attractions for tourist. The achievements of the national traditions and culture are popularized among the population mainly through the forms of professional and amateur artistic creativity. Ensemble Zora is a group for folk dancing and singing founded in 1980in order to develop and preserve the Bulgarian traditions in folklore. From 2008 works with the choreographer Stefan Laloshev. The group presents the folkdances, the singing and the folk costumes from all districts in the country. The repertoire take place the dynamics, the beauty and the rhythmical changes of æShopishe”dances, the free spirit of æMizishe” dances, the lyric and refrained passion of the Thracian” dances, and the mystics of the “Macedonian” fire. The performances of the Ensemble æZora” transmits the spirit of Bulgaria from the past to the present and conserve it for the future.Zora has already participated in folk festival in Spain,Turkey, China,Italy, France, Bulgaria and Poland.
