Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts was established in 2009 by the dance mother of Bangladesh, the accomplished artist, Rahija Khanam Jhunu, and from then it steadily rose to become one of the most renowned cultural educational institutions of Bangladesh. Here, students learn and refine their skills on Dancing, Singing, Art and other musical instruments such as – Guitar, Violin, Keyboard and Tabla. To provide and spread the proper cultural education to the future generations of the country and to furnish the original cultural theme of Bangladesh to international forums is the main goal of our institution. We hope to convey that by participating in festivals abroad and by enriching our relationship with cultural institutions in numerous countries. Along the years we took part in numerous festivals in our country as well as abroad. One of our more notable performances was in Kagoshima, Japan for the Kagoshima youth arts festival which we took part in for 3 years in a row. We also participated in World Folk fest festival 2014 in Springville and Bountiful/Davis Summer fest International in the bountiful/Davis art center, Bountiful, USA.
