The Alumni Folk Dance Group “Härmatis” originates from Miina Härma High School in Tartu and was established in 2022 to continue the legacy of the school’s original group founded in 2012. Led by Agnes Tuule Nöps and Oliver Kiho, it focuses on preserving Estonian folk dance traditions and intergenerational continuity.
Folk Dance Group “Kuu,” founded in 2009 in Seljametsa village, reflects strong community spirit and connection to nature. With an average dancer age of 53, the group highlights lifelong engagement in folk traditions.
Both groups actively perform in Estonia and internationally, promoting authenticity, cultural heritage, and community values through traditional dance.
